Olde Town East Recycling: Designing for Social Good

My final project, completed as part of my User Experience Design Certificate, focused on social good. For this project, I developed a recycling application and a responsive mobile website to serve as a recycling resource for my local community.

The goal of my project was to ensure accessibility to recycling services for the entire community. To achieve this, I implemented features such as a calendar and a library of recyclable materials, allowing users to schedule pick-ups by local volunteers. This initiative was inspired by my involvement in a community website for Olde Towne East.

Additionally, the responsive website provides links to community resources and information about recycling from the city.
